The First Marxist Forum on Labor Human Rights Convenes

On Dec. 2, the “first Marxist Forum on Labor Human Rights”, which mainly conducted philosophy, ethics and cross-discipline discussions and research on the question of labor was held by the Knowledge and Value Science Research Institute of Shanghai Normal University held. More than 60 delegates were present at the forum, respectively from the schools of higher learning and scientific research institutions in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Hubei and Sichuan. Prof. He Yunfeng, director of the Knowledge and Value Science Research Institute of Shanghai Normal University delivered a key-note report, and other experts also actively expressed their views, conducting hot discussions and exchanges of views on topics concerning labor, including the position and role of labor theory in the whole theory of Marxism, the guarantee of labor right, the moulding of labor happiness concept, and the overall development of labor and people.
