Shekou

Held in December 1978, the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee marked a major turning point and raised the curtain on the era of reform and opening up in China. Over the more than 40 years since the launch of reform and opening up, Shenzhen has completely transformed from a tiny fishing village into an international metropolis.
